A manufacturing company in Toronto is seeking a full time Bilingual Payroll
Administrator who is self-motivated and committed to accuracy with a keen
attention to detail. The successful candidate will be a highly organized team
player, capable of performing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare and transmit 3 biweekly payrolls;
Data entry including new hire set up, terminations, adjustments, manual
updates and other details;
Liaise with employees and managers regarding payroll issues; research and
respond to payroll queries from employees and managers and ensure timely
customer service is provided to our internal customers;
Preparation of manual cheques; Filing and Maintenance of payroll records
Maintains vacation files and handle all queries regarding vacation for
salaried employees
Ensure Group Benefits are updated in Payroll
Other projects and duties as required
Education and Experience:
CPA level one an asset
Bilingual in English and French, both oral and written
Strong knowledge of payroll related legislation
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong interpersonal skills ability to deal with queries tactfully and
confidentially
