Our client is a global financial company that provides services for large institutional investors. Offering asset management, accounting and pension fund administration, our client deals with pension funds, insurance companies, governments, foundations and endowments to help them better manage their assets.

Due to continued growth, our client is currently seeking to add a Bilingual Senior Benefits Administrator to its team located in downtown London, Ontario. This role’s focus is to provide excellent customer service and administration of pension benefit payments for an assigned group of corporate client accounts and provide support to pensioners and clients over the phone.

Our client is looking for a team player who is eager to learn and take initiative, and offers a variety of perks. This is a full time, permanent opportunity with a balance between administrative and customer service tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for clients and pensioners.
  • Review and act on client authorizations for pensioner and lump sum payments, ensuring documents are complete.
  • Complete maintenance on pensioner profiles.
  • Set up and maintain account procedures for assigned clients.
  • Co-ordinate client projects, such as, new business, payment increases, bulk changes, account re-structuring, wind-ups and mailings, in accordance with client expectations and completed accurately and within a timely basis.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete quality control reports by reviewing and taking appropriate action, within established timeframes.
  • Perform second party verification on co-workers processing.
  • Provide support to pensioners over the phone and follow up where necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and French, both oral and written.
  • Strong administrative skills, combined with some customer contact centre experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a professional telephone manner.
  • Prioritization and time management skills - the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Post Secondary education.
  • One year of pension administration experience would be an asset.
  • General computer skills, including MS Office experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
