Our Client is a leader in the Canadian Wholesale Distribution Industry, and they have an immediate requirement for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join their team on a six (6)-Month Contract.
The primary Responsibility will be to process inquiries received via telephone, Email, and Fax.
The Customer Service Representative is required to resolve customer and sales representative issues on the first point of contact using Company policy and guidelines. In this role follow up with clients, the ability to deal with difficult customers, escalations and multi task on related activities are part of this position.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Responds to all inbound inquiries from customers and sales representatives regarding order status, quality issues following company policies and guidelines.
- Responds to customer problems, assess customer requirements and recommends alternative options and solutions. Make recommendations to the Customer Service Supervisor for solutions outside of normal guidelines/responsibilities.
- Provide information regarding product, procedures and policy standards to company sales representatives and customers.
- Co-ordinate with other departments as needed in order to resolve issues.
- Investigate problems and call track customer/sales representative contact.
Required Experience and Education
- Fluently Bilingual in French and English
- One (1)-year in customer service, sales or call centre industry.
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, etc).
Desired Experience and Education
- Positive, customer service oriented, works well in a team oriented environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills (both verbal and written in the English language) and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a team, following a continuous improvement culture to meet the company’s objectives.
