Our Client is a leader in the Insurance Industry, with offices across Canada. They currently have an immediate requirement for a Bilingual Senior Customer Service Representative in their Toronto Head Office.
Provide prompt, courteous and superior service to sales representatives, policy holders, distributor’s administrative office personnel, other financial institutions and third party representatives of clients (lawyers, accountants, executors, etc.).
Respond to telephone and written inquiries on products, client account problems, administrative procedures, system functions, estate settlements, bankruptcies, separation agreements, taxation issues, distributor compensation, etc.
Handle and resolve complex and irregular client cases. Research and prepare instructions as required with necessary follow-ups to complete service tasks in a timely manner.
Develop and build day-to-day relationships with our business partners, provide guidance to these partners and distribution networks.
Work on special projects, particularly those relating to Quebec sales distributors.
Participate in regular reviews of procedures to ensure that work floor, audit, documentation and compliance comply with improvement of service to business partners and clients.
Qualifications
- Post secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Fluently bilingual and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a dedicated customer service focus.
- Self-starter, with strong organizational abilities and have the ability to work under pressure.
- Common PC skills are a must (MS Office).
- Three to five years of experience in the investment and/or segregated funds industry.
- LOMA or IFIC mutual fund courses are an asset.
