Our client, a leader in management services for real estate portfolios, managing over 1 billion square feet of space globally, is currently seeking to immediately fill a Bilingual Compensation Analyst position for its Human Resources department in its fast-paced environment in Markham.
The Bilingual Compensation Analyst’s role is to assist in the determination, implementation and administration our client’s various rewards programs and related processes, and effectively communicating these programs within the organization’s hierarchy.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the job evaluation committee; performing preliminary evaluations of new jobs and maintaining all related data and documentation.
- Maintaining job descriptions, titles, codes and hierarchies in the organization and working collaboratively with various stakeholders in new job description development.
- Managing annual merit review processes, including establishing timelines; developing worksheets and reports; and providing merit budget recommendations.
- Managing rewards and recognition programs, including vendor management. Administering the program, and facilitating the quarterly and annual award nomination processes.
- Researching total monetary compensation and pay practices data and conducting total cash compensation analysis to ensure that our client’s pay practices and total cash compensation are competitive.
- Conducts various compensation analyses to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness and Pay Equity compliance.
- Developing relevant educational material and training initiatives to Team Leaders on the organization’s total rewards programs.
- Manages and coordinates the performance management process and ensures effective total rewards programs.
Qualifications:
- Bilingualism in English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills is required
- University or College Degree, or a combination of three to five years related experience required
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), or equivalent certification is a definite asset
- Ability to provide effective total rewards recommendations.
- Strong persuasion skills, including the ability to influence others towards a particular course of action.
- Flexibility and adaptability to frequently changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interface at all levels within the organization.
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills.
- Strong data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Strong computer proficiency, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project). Experience with Oracle HRMS is an asset.
- Ability to work independently, as well as on a team.
- Ability to exhibit discretion in handling confidential / sensitive information.
