Our client, is the leading manufacturer in their field. Their reputation for
quality and industry-leading performance is based on vision, performance, and
the talents and energy of dedicated professionals. Currently, they are searching
for a Bilingual Accounts Receivable Clerk.
Responsible for the timely collection of accounts, you will perform approval of
incoming orders, credit evaluation for new dealers and maintenance of the A/R
sub ledger.
Key Role Responsibilities/Activities/Deliverables:
Keep customer accounts updated.
Call customers on overdue invoices.
Balance A/R trail with day-to-day transactions when all cash receipts are
posted and the invoice register is printed.
Maintain list of delinquent accounts and make ongoing efforts to collect
payments.
Contact Sales Representatives/Managers as necessary for help in collecting
past due accounts.
Perform credit checks and set up customer accounts after they have been
approved through the credit process.
Print out customer statements and check accuracy before mailing.
Maintain custody of petty cash and submit vouchers for replenishment in a
timely manner.
Required Experience/Competencies/Education:
High School diploma.
Two or three years of accounts receivable experience in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment.
Fluency in French and English.
