Our Client is one of the fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in Canada, and they have an immediate requirement for a Bilingual Technical Support Representative.
Under general direction, provide front line (“1st Tier”) support to internal and external staff for the deployed systems and applications of the company.
Responsibilities
As a 1st Tier Technician, provide support to all internal and external staff by providing timely and effective response to support requests;
Meet and/or exceed first call closure targets;
Meet and/or exceed Knowledge Base usage targets;
Effectively work with 2nd Tier Client Support staff by appropriate escalation of incidents.
Perform computer builds and upgrades as needed;
As required act as an Incident Manager.
Qualifications
Fluently Bilingual in French and English
A college diploma or university degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline;
Minimum of two years working within related position and environment.
Extensive current knowledge of Microsoft office software, operating systems and PC hardware
Proven knowledge of enterprise application systems such as Siebel, Proscape, Cognos, Axapta, and Documentum
Strong knowledge of PC/LAN communications, hardware / software;
Proven time management, problem solving and incident management skills;
ITIL Fundamentals Certification would be an asset;
Strong interpersonal, communication skills and flexibility to cope with a changing, fast paced environment;
Experience with HP Service Desk is an asset;
