Our client, a global automotive manufacturer, is currently seeking a Bilingual Automotive Technical Specialist to assist its dealer network in a diverse and stimulating role. You will be the go to person that dealerships will turn to for technical information, handling a wide range or issues, from parts questions to best practices to the identification of trends, you will be an invaluable part of our client’s team.
The Bilingual Automotive Technical Specialist is a vital two-way communications link between the dealer network and the head office regarding all aspects of technical issues, ensuring a timely resolution and follow to get things fixed right the first time.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring timely implementation of activities for all technical hotline inquiries received through the various channels.
- Research and consolidate all relevant information related to technical hotline inquiries, coordinating and communicating applicable diagnostics procedures to dealer staff and using all available resources to assist in implementing prompt and effective repairs.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and French, both oral and written
- Possession of a valid mechanic’s license
- 2-5 years experience working in a dealership
- Proficiency with MS Office software suite
- Ability to convey detailed explanations in a clear and professional manner
- Positive attitude
