Are you looking for a challenging and diverse role, where you can use the experience you’ve acquired working with account management or at an automotive dealer to expand into a territory management role?
Our client, a global automotive manufacturer, is currently seeking an outgoing and energetic relationship builder who will provide sales management support to our client’s automotive dealer network.
Based out of one of the larger metropolitan Atlantic cities (Moncton/Halifax/etc), your main responsibility is to build upon existing relationships with the dealers, communicating new programs, promoting our client’s vehicles and resolving any issues. This role requires extensive travel within the territory, working with the principals at the dealerships.
Your proven track record of reliable, responsive and professional conduct will drive sales targets and improve their overall business operations. You will also develop new business opportunities to expand our client’s presence in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Meet and exceed corporate and district wholesale and retail objectives
- Support the dealers in sales, marketing and promotional activities and programs
- Establish excellent business relationship with assigned dealers
- Evaluate dealership operations and performance and provide recommendations
- Identify and research open points to determine sales potential and financial viability.
- Initiate strategic business alliances for market representation
- Extensive travel throughout the Atlantic provinces, Quebec city and the Gaspe (position is home based ideally from Moncton or Halifax)
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in English and French, both written and oral
- College/University preferred
- 3 years Auto Sales experience at manufacturer or dealer level a definite advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
