Our client, the largest retailer in Canada with thousands of locations under a variety of regional banners, is currently seeking to immediately fill a Bilingual Data Entry and Customer Service Representative. This is a six month temporary assignment with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate. Working in close collaboration different stakeholders across the country, the Bilingual Data Entry and Customer Service Representative’s role is to perform administrative duties for a rewards program as well as provide information to a variety of internal clients.

Responsibilities:           

  • Administration and activation of cards for an incentive/rewards program
  • Providing effective customer service in response to inquiries and requests for information
  • Maintenance of all inquiries and requests in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Responding to calls in a professional and timely manner
  • Following up with colleagues regarding missing information and outstanding issues/inquiries
  • Remaining current on all company related pension and benefit programs, related policies, practices and procedures
  • Refer complex inquiries to designated administrator for further investigation and resolution
  • Administrative duties involving preparation and distribution of letters and other documents
  • Liaising with third parties to resolve and investigate inquiries
  • Participate in department initiatives/projects as required

Qualifications: 

  • Bilingual in English and French, both written and verbal with an emphasis on professional and pleasant phone manners
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • General knowledge of Payroll, Pension and Benefits an asset
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and conflicting demands in a very fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously within a team environment
