Scope:

Our client, is a leader in the print media advertising industry. Performing various clerical functions to support Service Bureau Senior Consultant, Service Bureau Art Consultant, and various inter-company departments with queries insuring timely and accurate completion of artwork submitted by CMRs (certified marketing representatives).
 

Key Role Responsibilities/Activities/Deliverables:

Main Responsibilities:

1. Daily Production

• Logging in ads into our internal system.
• Perform Quality Assurance verification of Ads.
• Create informational Advertising
• Other clerical duties as assigned.

2. Tracking and Organizing

• Monitor, organize and track the flow of incoming CMR work and prioritize work that requires special attention.
• File and organize layouts appropriately or as assigned
• Record keeping such as scanning layouts into our database.

3. Problem Solving

• Identify potential problems with layouts and workflow
• Propose possible solutions to problems or process flaws

4. Communication

• Work closely with National Channels (sales channel) and National Publishing (contract entry) to coordinate smooth and accurate flow of artwork transmittal through the Service Bureau department
• Answer questions from CMRS and help identify proper specifications for artwork submission

Required Experience/Competencies/Education:

• High School Diploma
• 1-2 years experience in an office environment/administrative/clerical
• 40-45 wpm typing speed
• Bilingual skills, French and English, both written and verbal

 

Highly Desired Experience/Competencies/Education:

• Proficiency Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Proficiency with Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with MAC and Windows
• Experience using AMPS, RAD/RID systems
• Intermediate French communication skills, written and verbal
• Advanced English communication skills, written and verbal
