Bilingual Customer Service Representative - Client Support

Our client, is a leader in Health Sciences & Photonics. Their success is predicated on the strength of their people. Currently, they would like to add a Bilingual Customer Service Representative.
 

Key Role Responsibilities/Activities/Deliverables:

• Provide front line customer support including taking incoming calls, order entry, problem resolution, order tracking, and responding to all customer inquiries.
• Interact with internal and external departments to expedite orders / shipments, track performance and manage backorder situations.
• Create and maintain customer databases including price quotes, customer addresses, and customer license information.
• Participate in marketing and sales promotions.
• Co-ordinate training seminars, order lunches, name badges, hotel reservations etc.. ( as required ).
• Conduct customer follow up calls regarding Instrument purchases and general satisfaction.
• Conduct follow up calls to customers as required regarding status of their orders.
• Process all customer faxed orders in SAP ( Data entry ) and FAXBACK Confirmation.
• Maintain Filing system for all Orders processed.
• Send all weekly mail to internals Sales and Service Personnel as assigned.
• Conduct associated clerical duties including faxing, filing and photocopying, mailing.
• Misc. shipping papers as required.
• Mailing and faxing as required of invoices, quotes and misc. business documents.
• Various service enhancement and general office duties as needed.
 

Required Experience/Competencies/Education:
 

• Bilingual (English and French).
• Ability to multi task and handle stress while maintaining strong customer focus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as phone etiquette.
• Ability to work as part of a team with a "what ever it takes" attitude to accomplish the task ethically and professionally.
• Flexibility to take on new responsibilities in a dynamic environment and capability to learn quickly.
• Completion of Secondary School (College or University Degree),
• Basic computer skills ( Word, Excel, Oracle, SAP, Outlook, Lotus Notes, )
• 2-3 years previous experience in a Customer Service
