Our client, is a leader in the automotive field. Their philosophy is the only limitation is your ambition. Currently, they have a need for a Bilingual Coordinator – Vehicle Distribution.

Key Role Responsibilities/Activities/Deliverables:

• Provide on-going support to dealers/DSM’s by communicating information pertaining to wholesale/retail vehicle sales, vin #s, available preproduction vehicles, SIA inventory status, vehicle ETA (estimated time of arrival), vehicle search and locations, initiate monthly dealer courtesy calls and record in Dealer Call Log.

• Input overflow or problem RDR’s (Retail Delivery Records), verify information.

• Assist dealers with the utilization, training and troubleshooting of the DCS (Dealer Connect System) on an on-going basis.

• Source vehicles for external fleet, press, show and company vehicle Fleet, and arrange and monitor vehicle transportation.

• Provide back-up coverage for Distribution Coordinators when necessary (illness, vacation, busy periods) and attend meetings, training sessions, and social functions (optional) as related to the position.

• Maintain flow of vehicles from source to dealers by performing distribution functions with aid of reports and Global system. This includes to locate and assign vehicles to dealers, allocate and release dealer pick-up with CP/CN compounds, arrive railcars for Eastern Region (into AS400), expedite shipments with plant/port and compounds, monitor and input transport company data to initiate invoicing.

• Administration of submitted transit damage claims including: run report through AS400 system, updating excel database, review and assess claims submitted by dealers, submitting claims to ITC (Importers Transport Council) for their submittal to transportation companies. Provide follow-up on unresolved claims and communicate payment of claims to accounting department.
 

Required Experience/Competencies/Education:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in customer service.
• Detail oriented
• Strong organization skills
• Bilingual (English/French)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (build rapport and good business relations with dealers)
• Multitasking & prioritizing
• Excellent computer skills
 

Highly Desired Experience/Competencies/Education:

• College diploma preferred
• Knowledge of and/or interest/aptitude in auto industry is an asset
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmissions and possession of a valid driver’s license is an asset.
